HEALTHCARE ASSISTANT

The Healthcare Assistant course equips learners with the knowledge and practical skills needed to provide quality patient support in hospitals, community health centers, and home-based care settings. It emphasizes compassionate care, hygiene, communication, and teamwork within the healthcare environment.

Developed in line with the Nyahururu Medical Training College curriculum development policy, the program prepares first-level Healthcare Assistants who are competent in basic clinical and patient care. It promotes reflective practice, critical thinking, and lifelong learning through a learner-centered approach that values individual learning styles and holistic patient care.
